Jakob started serving as the pastor of First Baptist in December of 2023. He and his wife, Abby, reside in Pearl River with their daughter, Eleanor. Jakob is a native of West Tennessee and a graduate of Blue Mountain College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves preaching, classic country music, old Ford trucks, and learning about American history.
