At FBC Pearl River, you will find a body of believers who love Jesus and love people. Our

Sunday services are marked by being all about Jesus and guided by His Word, from the songs to

the prayers to the preaching. Childcare is available for those up to 2nd grade after the singing

portion of our service.

There are 5 core characteristics we desire to be defined by in order to accomplish our mission to

lead the families of Pearl River to life in Christ and for Christ to flow through all that we do:

Centered Around the Word

The Bible is our authority and guide, so everything we do as a church is centered around

what God has revealed to us in the Scriptures, ultimately pointing to Jesus and

redemption found in Him. Our pastor is committed to preaching through the Word, so

expect to open the Bible and hear what God says!

Constant in Prayer

Apart from Christ we can do nothing, so we want to be people who constantly confess

our dependence on God through prayer. God works powerfully in answering the prayers

of His people, and we want to emphasize prayer through emphasis in our Sunday

morning worship and Wednesday night prayer meeting.

Courageous in Evangelism

Jesus has called us to be witnesses, telling others of His death, burial, and resurrection for

the forgiveness of sins so that people can be reconciled to God and have eternal life. We

see it as our responsibility as the church to be these witnesses in our community and

beyond.

Committed to Discipleship

Life in Christ does not end at the moment of salvation, but it begins there. Jesus tells His

people to make disciples, so we want to see families grow deeper in their walk with Jesus

by being conformed to His image in every aspect of their life.

Common in Love

The church is a people bound together by the love of Christ, and we want to reflect that

love through our generosity, compassion, hospitality, and community, seeking to rejoice

with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
